My journey into stained glass started in 2006 when I went to stained glass evening classes in Doncaster run by John Michael.
Over two years I learned the techniques of Tiffany style copper foiling used for the production of decorative stained glass items such as terrariums, mirrors etc. and Lead Came work for the production of items including leaded window panels etc.
Based in Doncaster South Yorkshire, I offer stained glass commissions, repairs, rebuilds and restoration.
Restoration Work
In some situations, not all windows or door panels require a complete replacement. it may be a case of replacing broken pieces of stained glass, then replacing corroded or weakened lead.
Complete Units
In situations where restoration is not possible. I can remove the old unit, construct a new one and refit it.
In either case, I evaluate each job separately and advise accordingly which is the best course of action to take to bring the unit back to its former glory.
