Stained Glass Doorways

Stained Glass Doorways Repairs

The following represents some of my stained glass doorways repairs and restoration work.

Porch

Porch, these are two of four panels made for a newly built porch on an old cottage.

Front Doors

Refurbished panels in front doors, in all cases they were releaded and any broken glass replaced with closely matching recycled old glass where available or new glass.

Front Door Panel

Before and after photographs of a front door panel. This was one of 9 panels in the door which had been previously repaired using the wrong glass.

New panel made to match the original 8 panels.

Front Door

The original doorway was missing the 8 lower stained glass panels which made up the four center door panels and the two side panels.

This photograph shows work in progress constructing the new stained glass panels which are missing from the front door.

Iridised Glass

This was a completely new set of stained glass panels using iridised glass.

Front Door Restoration

All of these panels were becoming weak due to corrosion of the lead. They were removed, releaded and cemented.

Broken Glass
